FAQ

What is Harmony Grit?

  • Chorus’ own custom hybrid texture with special embedded granules

Does it last longer than normal “raw carbon fiber” texture?

  • Yes! Early third party results show up to 3x the durability of “raw” carbon fiber
  • This means much longer lasting average spin potential!

Is it supposed to “feel really gritty?”

  • No. Brushing your hand over the paddle for “feel” can actually be misleading compared to other “super gritty” paddles.
  • Even when you feel like it “smooths” a little over time, remember the on-court performance is the key to measure!

How does Harmony Grit work?

  • As “gritty” peaks smooth, granules compensate for “gritty” falloff
  • This keeps the average spin potential around more much longer than normal paddle textures!

How do I clean it?

  • You can use rubber erasers
  • But no eraser needed – you can wipe clean with your hand or microfiber cloth!

Why long-lasting instead of permanent grits?

  •  Our biggest goal was to preserve the personality and playability of the paddle.
  • There is no true “permanent” grit, but the near-zero loss grits we prototyped felt like a completely different playable material layer that muted and changed the personalities of our soft carbon fiber and fiberglass materials.
  •  We chose to preserve the character of the paddle we loved instead of trying to claim 0%-1% spin loss on a paddle we don't like.
