The Fire is the first paddle in pickleball using only flexible carbon fiber weaves and fiberglass, combined with a wide-cell power core! The surface is a tightly fused layer of fiberglass on top of a carbon and red polyester twill weave (sometimes aesthetically referred to as "titanium.") This fusion sits on top of another flexible carbon fiber twill weave to maximize rebound action.
The polypropylene honeycomb core is made of wider cells, providing an extra push of power the harder you swing.

I recently purchased a fire ex which has blown me away! The paddle has great power, pop, and control I was very surprised on how much control a power paddle has. Also for the price it is definitely hard to beat this paddle!!!
Haven't hit the paddle yet but very impressed with the packaging. I've bought many paddles, none have have in a box, with an overgrip, weighted tape, and sweat towel. Paddle cover is great and they way they packaged it was awesome. Impressed with that.
I have been playing with the Fire EX for about 2 weeks under various playing conditions -mainly indoors. This paddle has been fantastic so far as I have customized it to the way I like it with weight. Of course you need to experiment but I think I have found the correct weight distribution for me and my swing. So now my serves rocks and drops feel so good that I know when they will go over and where they will go. At times when I want to crank up the volume with speed I have the ability to really smack the ball. I am trying a new grip from Ethos and it has worked out with a uDrippen overwrap. I also like the fact so far I am the first in my Lifetime to be using it. I love the colors on this paddle also. I like that I am supporting my local paddle company here in the Dallas area.
Controllable power and pop. Slightly lower power than my ALW-C 12.7 but much more controllable and much bigger sweet spot. This is what i expected from a power paddle. Great spin too despite the rather smooth surface. My shots dipped a lot especially for serves and baseline shots. Multiple options when it comes to shape. I personally went with the EX and i feel the sweet spot is pretty large for an elongated.
