This elite paddle features modern thermoformed construction, with the cutting-edge, unique 3D 18K cubic carbon fiber surface on a unibody mold with foam-injected edges to maximize the sweet spot. The Shapeshifter will wow with its top tier spin in all directions due to the flexibility of the wide triaxial weave, amaze with its stability and control because of the super strong 18K carbon fiber tows, and more than satisfy with its ample finishing and ground stroke power.
There are three premium quality layers on each side of the polypropylene core to create a unique blend of soft, but poppy touch. The top surface layer is that breakthrough ultra-durable, yet flexible 3D 18K cubic carbon fiber in a stunning triaxial weave shape (Toray brand). It's that stable, yet flexible 18K surface that increases the dwell time the ball spends on the paddle before it exits. The second layer is Toray brand T700 carbon fiber. The third layer touching the polypropylene core is premium fiberglass, acting as the strong backstop to bring power to your full swings and overhead finishes.

All around goodness--great spin, control, with some pop for you. It is not a power paddle, but will do the job for most anyone looking for some touch to their game.
After seeing the review on JohnKew PB’s youtube channel I decided to give the Shapeshifter a try...his review was on point! The Shapeshifter has tons of control all the time and when you add more juice to the shot it’s fiberglass layer does not disappoint. Increasing the force of the shot delivers a surprising jump in velocity that catches opponents off guard. Love my Chorus Shapeshifter PB paddle!

I have been playing with the shapeshifter for about a month. What a great paddle for dinks and resets or blocking a banger with control. This is a control paddle with plenty of pop and power when you need it. Great job Chorus!!
I know nothing about pickleball, or paddles, BUT this was a gift to my mother who is OBSESSED. Her trainer had this paddle and she’s been eying it for a while. Shes super happy with it!
