The Supercourt is the quintessential two-handed backhand machine, made to feel right at home for players coming from tennis. The optimized 8-inch wide face provides a focused sweet spot for whipping forehands and backhands from the baseline as well as finishing those overheads with style.
Plush raw carbon fiber graces the face, supported by fiberglass underneath, creating intuitive touch with softer shots, but an extra power boost with fuller swings.
The 6.25-inch handle is reinforced with thick strips of fiberglass, ensuring stability and balance when you hold it with two hands.
There are FOUR layers of material on either side of the polypropylene core. In addition to the top carbon fiber layer and fiberglass as the second layer, there are two more flexible carbon fiber layers under the fiberglass.
What does that mean for performance?
The extra layer provides more stability and consistent action across the entire surface than players would expect from traditional construction.
While supplies last, paddle also includes:
- Four 1.5g (0.05oz) silicone vibration dampening weight strips
- Provides optional stability or power boost
- Retro tennis-style paddle bag
- Chorus branded cotton headband

The long handle on this paddle helps in emulating the elongated feel plus conserves maneuverability at the kitchen line. I generally prefer elongated and was originally not going to buy this paddle, but it kept catching my attention and has earned a spot in my paddle repertoire for when I want a change of pace to something faster, lighter, more forgiving.
This is a fun niche paddle for 4.0+ player due to a small hitting surface. Great all around paddle with power and soft touch for dinks. I was able to generate a lot of topspin with the carbon face. Love the presentation box, retro full paddle cover. Highly recommend for a tennis player converting to PB and looking for something different.
Probably the most stable paddle I've ever played with! The grip length is perfect; its way easier to do backhands on this vs other paddles!
The touch is good, power is sufficient. This it's extra long handle it makes two-handed backhands more comfortable. Sure it takes away some of the paddle face near the handle, but you don't want to be using that part of the paddle anyway.
I only have had the Supercourt paddle for a short time as I bought it on the Black Friday special of 50% off list price. I was intrigued by the paddle after seeing several You-tube reviews on it and they were all positive. This is my second Chorus paddle having purchased the Shapeshifter last June (a paddle I really love!).
The static weight of my paddle with no alterations was 7.85 oz.
So far, I only have about 3-4 hours of playing time on the Supercourt. The first thing I noticed was how light and maneuverable the paddle is. With its long handle it is very easy to whip the paddle around for flicks and speed-ups. However, because of that, I found myself popping the ball up too often. Also, because of the light weight, I found I really have to swing hard to generate the desired speed I wanted on serves and drives.
To counter both deficiencies, I have begun to add tungsten tape (1gm/inch) to the edgeguard. Right now, I am playing with it weighted as follows: two inches at the 2-3 and 9-10 o'clock positions, and four inches at the 4-5 and 7-8 o'clock positions. This has brought the static weight up to 8.3 oz. So far this has been working well and has helped me with pop ups and has given my drives more power though I will probably tinker with the weighting for a while to find the best set-up.
So far, I like the Supercourt and given more playtime, I may move my rating up. One thing about the paddle is it sure has drawn a lot of attention and interest from people at the courts because of its unique shape. Everyone wants to give it a try!
