Disclaimer: Chorus did send me this for testing. These are my own thoughts and opinions:
The Chorus Coda is an incredible paddle. This is Chorus’ new hybrid shape — nearly identical to the HX, but with straight sides (no taper), giving you a more consistent sweet spot through the body of the paddle.
The surface layup is CFC, but the fiberglass is subtle. This gives you the benefits of fiberglass pop without the overly springy, trampoline feel some fiberglass paddles have. The result? A paddle that blends control and power extremely well.
If you’ve hit the 11Six24 Jellybean… imagine that on steroids.
You can really pocket the ball — there’s noticeable dwell that makes drops and resets feel confident and controlled. From the baseline, the power is there when you need it, but it never feels wild or unpredictable. It’s extremely controllable for how much pop it brings.
I'd say it has more power than pop which is my preference for my control game.

A power paddle that has a softer feel with a big sweet spot.
I recently had the chance to play with the new Chorus Coda paddle. I like it so much I ordered one when got home. The paddle feels so well-balanced and comfortable. The paddle provided excellent balance between control and power. The Coda delivers strong shots without sacrificing touch, it is easy to place the ball accurately during dinks, volleys, and serves. The responsive face also provides great feedback, helping improve consistency and confidence on the court.
The Coda feels sturdy and durable enough for frequent play yet remains lightweight for quick exchanges at the net. Its price also makes it an excellent value.
I've been absolutely loving this paddle! It has such a nice balance of power and control, and it just feels really comfortable in my hand. I was honestly surprised by how quickly I felt confident playing with it.
I also run a women's pickleball club, so I've let a lot of our girls try it during open play, and everyone has had great things to say. It's become one of the paddles people keep reaching for.
The quality is amazing, it looks beautiful, and it's just a really fun paddle to play with. Definitely one of my favorites!
I love this paddle!! I’m a 4.0+ player and I love how this paddle plays. I have no racquet sport background and the one thing I struggled with was having a consistent deep drive. Almost immediately this paddle cleaned that up for me. Amazing!! The sweet spot on this paddle is huge! I also love the control that I have with this paddle. It makes drops and resets easy. The swing weight is great, feels very nimble at the net. Such a wonderful all around paddle!! I feel like it helps me play better.
If you're like me and have never seemed to connect with stiff and hollow power paddles, the Coda sets itself apart with distinct feel while providing power and control. The sweet spot is massive, the handle provides sufficient room for twoeys, and the paddles comes in light enough for you to tack on a little weight for customization. This paddle has it all.
The Coda (H) at first feels stiff and unforgiving, you can add some weight to offset this feeling, but after the initial break in period of 3-5 hours the paddle begins to open up. After the initial break in period the paddle begins to feel a little softer, the noise off the paddle becomes louder, and the power/pop starts to go up slightly. Around 10 hours of play the paddle fully unlocks and weight is no longer needed for the paddle to feel amazing. Paddle becomes slightly more soft feeling and more pocketing feel. Great all around paddle, power is enough to put balls away and the pop off counters are deadly.
Coda H is an excellent paddle with enough power to do anything you want to do, but not erratic at all so it will rarely handicap your ability to play. The sweetspot is pretty big; I usually play with elongated paddles so I hit higher on the paddle face, but I have yet to experience a deadspot. It has more than enough power to hit winning drives and overheads, enough pop to put away volleys and just enough to make resets easy, enough spin to hit drips and topspin lobs, and plenty light swingweight to not fall behind during hand battles. I can't ask anymore from it except for it to be elongated, and maybe long-lasting grit, which both are coming to Chorus in the near future. Overall, it is one of the best paddles I've played with. It is a power paddle a beginner-intermediate player can handle, and a magic wand in the hands of an advanced player. I cannot recommend the Coda line to players enough.

Never hit it stock. Added over grip and 6" of 1g tape from bottom corner up. I love the feel of the paddle. To me it feels like my loco hybrid. Average spin, good power and all very controllable. Good handle for 2 handed back hand and looks incredible. Hopefully the Harmony grit ones will have a hot pink color way!
I have dozens of top rated paddles.I am a 69 year old 4.0 player.This has been my main for the last 30 days.I play 5 days a week.
In my opinion,best all around paddle I have ever played with.Waiting on new coda with harmony grit.If your game is power when you need it,but control and placement over power,this is your paddle.I was amazed at the power,but more amazed at the accuracy,and reset ability it gave me.If you are working to get a complete game,this paddle will up your confidence 👍.

It’s my first foam paddle. I’ve been playing recently with the Shape Shifter which has been great for me.Adjustments for me was not to over hit, plenty of power and nice feel for resets. Not sure about reviewers comments on breaking in paddle, that may be a me issue knowing how to play with this paddle.
So I got this paddle cuz it was recommended on pickleball effects. I believe is the name of the podcast as well as pickleball pursuit pickleball pursuit more so I believe so I bought it and I got to tell you all right. I absolutely love this paddle. I'm usually play elongated, but this paddle's accuracy and feel is probably one of the best I've ever hit and I've played with a lot of paddles over the last 2 years..
Amazing paddle! I was recently struggling using a power paddle, and was looking for something with more control. The Coda was the right fit. It has a generous sweet spot, and my drops and resets have improved significantly. But don't get me wrong. This Coda still packs a punch and can hold its own against some of the big boys at a much more affordable price!
Have the B&B Loco, the Six Zero Coral….and now the Coda. . And put succinctly: I absolutely love my Coda. It truly feels amazing…and I have no hesitation about pulling this out of my bag over the Loco and Coral.
And I love both of those paddles.
But my last few games with the Coda have been amazing…and I have never felt more comfortable or relaxed on the court.
Chorus has made a truly great paddle.

Decent paddle but loses a lot of pop after about 3 hours of play. It plays soft when broken in and has good dwell time. The shape is nice along with the grip. The twist face is a little on the light side stock.
After the break in period the paddle is predictable on drives, resets and counters. Would purchase again. Love the light weight for quick shots at the kitchen.
I am playing at a much higher level with better touch and control since switching to the Coda. The only thing that would make it perfect is a higher spin.
Chorus has done it again. A well priced paddle that can stay on pace with the big boy foam paddles. It has a large sweet spot that forgives my accidental off hits while assisting on power when needed. I wasn't sure about foam paddles until I played with the Coda.
The Coda is a spectacular paddle! It has a feel profile that give you just enough softness to control your shots while having excellent power. The Coda performs up there with all of the major releases in early 2026. Great job, Chorus!
Give the paddle 3 hours to break in.
You will find the Coda to be the best balance of feel, control, and power you've ever played with.
This is not just another power paddle. I have had the best dinks, drops, and resets with this paddle.
Put away power is there, and they have a very satisfying thud sound.
Paddle plays awesome. Very light for a hybrid,with low swing wt and diskt need too much weight to make it very stable but still very maneuverable. Overall great paddle.
The Coda is the best feeling foam paddle I’ve hit. It’s light and fast in hand, but it has great stability, so it doesn’t need much weight adjustment. It has a denser feel and it has a great springy pop, not harsh at all. Power level doesn’t disappoint at all.
Extremely solid paddle. Once broken in, the paddle cups the ball for great control. The power is mid-range and very controllable. The Coda H is a sweet paddle that all should demo and try for themselves. One of the best all foam paddles available on the market.
