The Supercourt X Series paddle blends reliable, controllable soft touch and pop unlike any other paddle in the Chorus lineup.
If you're coming from a pure control paddle and want a bit more edge, or coming from an unwieldy power paddle and need more control, The Chorus Supercourt X Series could be the perfect blend of pop and control for you!
What are the X Series improvements?
- Better sweet spot and stability with less weight
- Denser foam edges inside
- Optimized paddle dimensions
- More comfortable handle
- More ergonomic octagon
- Firmer construction
Soft raw carbon fiber graces the face, supported by fiberglass underneath, creating forgiving touch with softer shots, but an extra dose of pop on medium to full swings.
There are three layers of material on either side of the polypropylene core. In addition to the top carbon fiber layer and fiberglass as the second layer, there is another soft carbon fiber layer under the fiberglass.
Comes with a free paddle cover!

The Supercourt is an all around great paddle. Definitely more power and pop than the Shapeshifter. I found that I could lesson my swing to get the power and control needed thus having less arm fatigue...and at 70, that's a good thing.
Out of the box with just an overgrip, this paddle is rough. The sweet spot and stability left a lot to be desired. However, adding weight to the throat and bottom corners transforms this thing from mediocre to extremely good. With added weight, there is controllable power when needed and great touch and control. Adding weight truly makes this paddle perform well above paddles at twice the cost.
Do you want a paddle that has pop? Do you want a paddle that has all court power? Do you want a paddle that's not too plush, but still has the control to take command on dinks? Do you want a paddle that is light enough to end the competition in hand battles with impressive pop? Look, this paddle is everything you are looking for and at this price point it's hard not to give it a try. Check it out, you won't regret it! Props if you know the show reference for the title of this review!
