You want plush control, big spin, and a dose of power on the bigger swings? This X Series Shapeshifter improves on the already classic paddle, and now it's in our original SX "Short" Widebody shape!

Just like the classic Shapeshifter, this elite paddle features the unique 3D 18K cubic carbon fiber surface on a unibody mold with foam edges to maximize the sweet spot. The Shapeshifter will wow with its top tier spin in all directions due to the flexibility of the wide triaxial weave, amaze with its stability and control because of the super strong 18K carbon fiber tows, and give a power boost for full swing finishes and ground strokes.

There are multiple layers on each side of the polypropylene core to create a unique blend of soft, but poppy touch.  The top surface layer is that breakthrough ultra-durable, yet flexible 3D 18K cubic carbon fiber in a stunning triaxial weave shape (Toray brand). It's that stable, yet flexible 18K surface that increases the dwell time the ball spends on the paddle before it exits. The second layer is Toray brand T700 carbon fiber. The bottom layer touching the polypropylene core is flexible fiberglass, acting as the strong backstop rebound to bring a dose of power to your full swings and overhead finishes.

What does this all mean?

  • Plush touch for dinks, resets and the soft game
  • Intuitive ball placement with increased dwell time
  • Reduction in unwanted pop ups
  • Power boost on full swings

What are the X Series improvements?

  • Denser foam perimeter
  • Stronger fiberglass response
    • (Fiberglass is bottom layer)
  • Reinforced carbon fiber second layer
  • Better handle
    • More ergonomic octagon
    • Firm construction

Also, you get a free paddle cover with your purchase, a $12.99 value!

Best control paddle on the market

Best control paddle on the market, face is plush and allows you to really place the ball where you need it. Low power allows you to really drive the ball without fear of it going out while also having enough put away power to finish points. My only critique is that the paddle is pretty short even for a wide body coming in at only 15.8 inches would have loved if it was 16 inches. Would recommend getting the hybrid or the widebodt!

Chorus SX for a Noob

I am very pleased with this paddle. I am new to the sport and been looking, trying and researching a lot of paddles. I have a lot of skill development to focus on and I do not expect the paddle to take me to 4.5 over night. But it definitely helps me feel the ball on the face and control the shot much better. It helps me still get the ball over the net on my error and plenty of power if I crank it, mostly out. I have tried several paddles in this price range and this is my permanent paddle. I added some over-grip from them and felt awesome. No tennis elbow feeling like I was feeling on the others. I highly recommend this paddle.

Wide Body, best doubles shape.

Most of us play doubles, yet we listen to the hype surrounding elongated and hybrid paddles. If you are a 4.5+ player and play singles go elongated. I play with the 3.5 to 4.0 doubles crowd. I constantly watch players struggle to consistently control “power paddles”. Admittedly, the wide body look was off putting to me. I am glad I got past the look and tried the wide body - plenty of controllable power plus the most impressive huge sweet spot of any paddle you can ever hit!

Chorus does it again!

Love the new SX! I was a bit hesitant because so far I’ve primarily been a big fan of the hybrid and elongated shapes, but I quickly transitioned to the new SX shape with its larger sweet spot which is helping reduce duds off the edges. Easy 5 stars again for Chorus!
